Baby Showers!

This past weekend Jim and I went to Waycross for 2 showers. One that my family was having for us and one that Jim's family had for us. We just wanted to Thank everyone that helped with the preparations of getting the showers together and for everyone that came and sent gifts for Lily. We really appreciate everything that was done and we had a great time! Thank you so much! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

OB Tour

Today we took a tour of St. Francis Women's Hospital. We really liked the facility. The hospital itself is much smaller than Greenville Memorial (which we toured a few weeks ago), but the Labor and Delivery area seems much nicer. They have 35 LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) suites. I think it is so nice that you stay in the same room the entire time you are there. The rooms seemed spacious compared to many that we have seen at different hospitals. They are all about keeping Mom and Baby together as much as possible, which we like. We are glad that we took the tour and now know with confidence that this is where we want to deliver.

25 Week Pregnancy Pics

25 weeks and growing! She is definitely getting bigger. I can feel and see her moving around all the time, which is very exciting. It's hard to believe that we only have just a little over 3 months left to go. The last few weeks we have stayed busy...we have registered at some places, Lily's crib came in (we have it all set up) but we are still waiting on her dresser/changing table, it is on backorder. I'm hoping it will be here by the end of the month. Once we get some more stuff in the nursery I will post some pics of it. A couple of weeks ago we toured one of the hospitals here, and next week we will tour our top choice, so we are looking forward to that.

24 Week Doctor's Appt

We had a Dr.'s appt this morning and everything went great. The Dr. said that I measured good, my BP was 108/60. I've gained 5 1/2 pounds since my last visit. She said that that was good since I started out smaller. Lily was moving all around while the Dr. was trying to get her heartrate, but Lily finally settled down enough for her to get it. It was 158.

I feel Lily kick all the time and Jim usually gets to feel her at least several times a week! Less than 4 months to go!!! My next appt is June 3rd.
