Last Sunday we had a nice family lunch. Here are some photos from that afternoon. Papa Greg and Papa White hung up Lily's swing in the back yard. She has loved swinging in it ever since!

We have had a busy week! We left Monday for Greenville, Jim and I had dentist appts for Tuesday and Lily had her 9 month Dr. appt on Wednesday so we decided to keep all of those appts so that it would give us a little more time here in Florida to find doctor's. We stayed with Lisa and Matt in Greenville and we had such a nice time with them. Lily did great and she loved playing with them and their dog Maddie! I think she tried to say Dog a few times while we were there. When we got back home she was looking for the doggie. :)

Lily's 9 month appt went great! She now weighs 18lb 3oz and is 27 inches long. She also got a shot which she wasn't too happy about but was alright after a few minutes. On the trip Lily starting making clicking sounds with her tongue. She started doing that when Lisa would do it to get Maddie's attention. Now Lily copies us when we do it. It is so cute. She also pulled up to standing all by herself a few days ago. There have just been so many changes in this last month. She is such a good, sweet, happy little girl! We love you Lily!!!!!!!

Tomorrow Lily will be 9 months old. It just doesn't even seem real. We look at her every day and are amazed at how much she has grown.... she's not our tiny little 6 lb baby anymore. She is learning so many new things everyday. She points out everything to us. We can ask where something is and she will point right to it. She also points to things if she wants us to tell her what it is. She claps her hands when we ask..which is absolutely adorable. She says mama and dada all the time....now it seems that she says mama more than dada. She says "hey" and the other day it sounded like she was trying to say "car." She is a fast little crawler and she tries to pull up....I don't think it will be long at all before she is standing by herself, she can stand by herself now if she is holding on to something. We just love our sweet little girl more than words could ever express!

This was on Mother's Day. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet, amazing, beautiful baby girl!!! Jim made it such a nice day. I had a wonderful relaxing morning in bed drinking my coffee and eating a yummy breakfast Jim made for me while watching a movie!!! It was great!

Amanda and Jack came over to visit with us yesterday. It was so nice to see them. It has been almost a year since we have seen each other!!

We are having such a good time getting settled in to our new house. We have been here almost 2 weeks and have stayed very busy, but it has been fun too! I really like the neighborhood, it is very nice for taking Lily out in the stroller and walking to the park. Not to mention we have almost everything we need w/in minutes of the house!

Lily has been busy....her second bottom tooth came in today!!! She loves to explore now and she goes everywhere...she keeps me and her Daddy busy running after her!

Today has been fun. We had a little cookout. We invited April, Drew, Nathan, Zayne, Noah and Dad over. The weather was just perfect. It was in the 70's and overcast and breezy....it felt so nice! Jim grilled hamburger and hotdogs. We also had baked beans, cole slaw and cupcakes for dessert! After we ate we took a stroll down to the park so the kids could play!!! Lily had a blast playing with her cousins! It was a very nice way to spend the evening!

Well we have been living in Florida for one week now and so far we love it!!! We went this morning to get our Florida driver's license! The past couple of weeks have been so busy...so many things going on. We really made all the preparations for the move in about 6 weeks time, and that was a very busy 6 weeks. We have our house in Greenville for rent and hopefully it will be rented out soon. Our furniture and all our belongings were delivered here in Florida last Friday and that was such a hectic crazy busy day. Lily did great though. She had her grandparents here to help watch her while Jim and I were directing the movers. We have really gotten alot done in the last week we have most everything unpacked...we still have a few boxes left in the house here...but not too many! We are loving the new house, we have so much more room and a very nice yard!

I had said several weeks ago that I thought we would be moving, Lily would start teething and crawling all at the same time and that is exactly what happened. As soon as we got to Florida Lily started crawling and hasn't stopped. She is a busy little explorer....getting into everything she can find. She especially loves the staircase and is already pulling up on the stairs so we have got to get some gates very very soon! Right now I cannot really take my eyes off of her b/c she is very fast! She likes to follow me and if she sees me sit something down she smiles and then she is off to go see what it is w/ a very fast crawl! She got her first tooth on April 30th, we were at the hospital seeing April and Noah and Grammy felt in her mouth and there was her little tooth! The teething has made her a little more fussy and all the crawling has made her more tired. We have been putting her to bed about 30 minutes earlier and she has been sleeping 30 minutes later in the mornings!

Another exciting event was Baby Noah being born. April had such a good delivery and Noah is just precious and is so sweet and such a good content little baby! I am very happy to be living so close to where we will be able to see them on a regular basis! Above are some photos from the past couple of weeks.
