Fernandina Beach

This past Monday we went to Fernandina Beach to meet up with a good friend of mine from highschool. We had not seen each other in almost 10 years! (She lives in Arkansas with her husband and daughter) It was so great to have a chance to catch up and to meet her hubby and her adorable little girl, Sophia! Here are a few pics of our outing!

Our 9 Year Wedding Anniversary!

Today I have been married to the most wonderful man for 9 years. It's hard to believe that we have almost been married a decade! Each year gets better than the last! We've been having a fun day together and plan to go to dinner at Ruth's Chris tonight! I'm looking forward to it.

Trip to Greenville

Last week we went to Greenville and stayed with our good friends Matt and Lisa. We had a lot of fun spending time with them and doing some of our favorite Greenville things. Lily had a great time and still talks about Matt and Lisa since being back home. We took Lily to the Children's Museum one of the mornings we were there and she had a blast. We of course had to go to Soby's and enjoyed some great food! Also got some Thai food from Sweet Basil...love that place and some take out from Chophouse 47. Needless to say we ate very good!


The Children's Museum.....Lily did some shopping in the market. She loved running to all the letters telling us what they are.

Having a Fun Summer!

Lily's friend Tessa came over for a playdate last Friday. The girls had so much fun together! I loved watching them play.





Lily was hanging out w/ her animal friends and Dora! :)

On Wednesday she had a Pancake Breakfast w/ some of her playgroup friends!


We took her to the "big" pool yesterday evening for the first time since last summer and she had so much fun! She didn't want to leave and on the way home she kept saying "go to the swimming pool again." She has her swimming lessons in a few weeks I think she will like them.

Happy Father's Day!!!

I wanted to say Happy Father's Day to Jim for being a wonderful Daddy to our precious little girl and to my Dad for always being a wonderful Father to me....and to all the other Father's out there. Lily and I love you so much Jim and enjoy spending every day with you! Thank you for all that you do and all that you are! We love you!!!! Lily's Lizard (video)

Lily loves lizards, and she isn't afraid of any bug, which is good and bad I think. I like that they don't scare her but I do worry that she may pick up something that is a little more dangerous!
