Oven Bun's First Beach Trip!

We spent a very relaxing weekend at Myrtle Beach. The hotel was great and our views of the ocean was wonderful. It was just so relaxing to sit in the room and listen to waves crashing and read. We did not turn on the computer the entire time we were gone. We never just lay around and do nothing, so it was nice for a change to do just that and have room service! It was wonderful and we cannot wait to go back.

Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter weekend. April, Drew and Nathan came for a visit and we had a really fun time and the weather was beautiful. On Friday April and I went around to some children boutique's and consignment shops, and then Jim treated us to a Massage at Urban Nirvana. It felt really nice, we both had a good time! While we were doing that the guys spent most of their time at Frankie's Fun Park playing arcade games and putt putt. We ended the evening with Jim doing some grilling and then taking April's pregnancy photos. I'll post one of the photos of me and her below, I'm sure she'll be posting more of them on her blog.....they turned out really good!

16 Week Photo Shoot!

Our backdrop came in and we had alot of fun while Jim took my 16 week photos! I think he did an awesome job!!!

Feeling The Baby Move!

On Friday afternoon (March 14th) I felt the baby move for the first time! That was exciting especially since I thought it could be another week or two before I felt it. I felt it several times that afternoon and everyday since! Feeling the baby made it seem even more real. Jim was excited as well and he can't wait til he can feel Oven Bun too!

16 Week Doctor's Appt

Today was our 16 week appointment. Everything went good. They drew some blood, but not nearly as much as my first appt, thank goodness! My blood pressure was good, 106/62. I have gained 4 pounds since my last appt. The baby's heartrate was a healthy 150 beats per minute. Our BIG ULTRASOUND appointment is coming up next....it will be 04/08/2008!!! So, hopefully if Oven Bun cooperates we will know if we will be having a he or she!

Our First Purchase for Oven Bun!

Jim and I were at Target last weekend and decided to take a little stroll in the baby section. We were just going to look but we saw these cute little onesies that we both really liked and since they were gender neutral we went ahead and got them. It was fun actually getting to pick something out and buy it for the baby! :-)

Visit from Constance and Keira

Yesterday Constance and Keira stopped by to visit me, Jim and baby to be. It was great getting to see them and Keira is really growing and walking all over the place. She is such a little cutie, so adorable! They left a gift for me and baby! Thanks Greg, Constance, and Keira!! I can't wait to start reading the books!

Prenatal Massage

Jim talked me into getting my first prenatal massage yesterday and I am glad he did. It was a fun, relaxing, and soothing experience. They concentrated on my neck, shoulders, back, feet and legs. I also got a head massage while I was there. The place was great and I look forward to going back many times! :-)
